When this lousy war is over
Rachel and Jennifer sing ‘When this lousy war is over’ at the Lochnagar Crater Memorial Ceremony held on 1st July 2010

Abide with me
Rachel and piper at the Lochnagar Crater memorial ceremony, 1st July 2010

At the start of the ceremony Richard Dunning requested that anyone who did need to rush away when the ceremony had ended, to form a complete human chain around the Crater by holding hands.

At the end of the ceremony after the scattering of petals, this human chain was achieved. A complete unbroken circle around the perimeter. The two photographs show a section of the gathering.
